Speeding up a website has an awkward property: most advice on the internet does not apply to your site. So it does not start by switching on a plugin, it starts by measuring where the time actually goes. Often it is not the images but a single third-party script blocking the render.
Technical SEO is the other half. A search engine has to crawl the site, understand the structure and know which address is the canonical one. Copy cannot make up for this: with a broken technical base, content never claws its way up.

How soon does it show?
Speed immediately, it is measurable the same day. Search positions not so, those take weeks, because the index is not rewritten on request.
Is this a one-off or ongoing?
Speeding up is a one-off, keeping it is not. Every script added and every new gallery drags it back down, so it is either watched as part of the care plan or we are back in a year.
Do you guarantee green scores?
I guarantee a before and after measurement and a concrete list of what changed. Green across every metric cannot be promised where third-party things have to stay on the site, a chat widget or tracking code for instance.
