What it involves.
Internal tools, booking systems, client portals. I build applications in React and Next.js that mirror how you actually work, instead of making your company adapt to the software.
An application differs from a website in one way: people work in it, they do not read it. So I do not ask what it should say, I ask what somebody has to click through in a day. The screens, the roles and everything worth automating come out of that.
I start with the smallest version that saves you work. Not to cut corners, but because the list of requirements before launch and the list after a month of use are two different lists. The first is guessed at, the second is known.

Common questions.
How is this different from a website?
A website is read, an application is used. Here the work is roles, permissions, states and what happens when something fails halfway. That is why an application is harder to estimate and why it starts smaller.
How is an application priced?
More often at an hourly rate (CZK 800/h) than at a fixed price, because the brief sharpens as the work goes on. A smaller application starts at CZK 35,000. You get an estimate of the scope up front and a record of the hours with every invoice. I am not a VAT payer, so the price is final.
What if we want to continue without you?
That is accounted for. It is why the build sits on ordinary React and TypeScript rather than on something only I know. The code and the access are yours, so anyone can pick it up.
Will it handle more users at once?
Yes. Tell me how many people and what data, and the deployment follows from that. Building for five people in an office is not the same as building for five thousand clients.
