What is processed
This site uses no analytics, no tag manager and no third-party embeds. I do not measure visits anywhere.
The contact form sends your name, your e‑mail, the text of your message and your phone number if you give one. The enquiry is stored in my client portal at app.mayhemdev.cz and is used to answer you and to agree the job.
The enquiry also carries where you came from. That is the address of the first page you opened on this visit, the page that sent you here, Google for example, and any campaign parameters in the address (utm). If you open the form from a link on a particular service, its name is sent too.
If sending fails, the form opens a drafted e‑mail in your own mailbox instead. Nothing is stored on my side in that case, and what reaches me is exactly what you left in the mail.
The chat in the bottom right corner sends your messages, and your e‑mail if you give it. The language and the address of the page you write from are stored with them. All of it goes to the same client portal at app.mayhemdev.cz as enquiries, and is used only to answer you. If you give an e‑mail and do not read my reply in the chat, I send it to that address as well.
To protect the form from spam, the server works with the sender's IP address. It keeps it only in memory for at most ten minutes to count attempts, and does not store it anywhere.
What is kept in your browser
At most three entries. None of them is a cookie and none of them reaches a third party.
Your answer to the cookie bar, in localStorage under the name mg-cookie-consent, so the bar stops asking.
An entry called mg-zdroj in sessionStorage with where you came from. The browser deletes it by itself when you close the window.
Once you write in the chat, a random conversation key in localStorage under the name mayhem_chat, so the conversation is there when you come back. The End chat button deletes it.
Why I may process it
I process enquiries and chat messages because you asked me for an answer or a quote. That is a step before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Where you came from, and the IP address used against spam, I process on the basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. I want to know which pages and channels bring in customers, and to keep robots away from the form.
How long I keep it
I keep an enquiry while the job is being discussed and for at most three years afterwards, then delete it. If we sign a contract, I keep the details for as long as it takes to fulfil it.
The portal deletes a chat conversation by itself one year after its last message.
Write to me at any time and I will delete the enquiry or the conversation sooner.
Who has access to it
I run the client portal at app.mayhemdev.cz myself. Enquiries and chat messages are stored there.
The site and the portal run on virtual servers I rent from devuni.cz and administer myself.
Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare, which protects the server from attacks. Cloudflare sees your IP address and technical details of the request.
When I reply by e‑mail, the message passes through my mailbox provider.
I do not pass your details to anyone else and I do not sell them.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data I hold about you and to get a copy. You can ask for it to be corrected, erased or its processing restricted, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. On request I hand over the data you gave me in a machine-readable form.

If you are not happy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection at uoou.gov.cz.
